Preliminary biological study on morphology of Sillago sinica populations

Abstract:

Based on statistical data, using the multivariate and traditional morphological analysis, the characters of the fish were measured and the morphological differences among the following three Sillago sinica populations, Dongying, Qingdao and Wenzhou were studied. The results indicate that the difference in meristic counts among three populations is not significant. Discriminant analysis of 27 morphological parameters shows that there are extremely significant differences among the three populations of S. sinica (P < 0.01), the accuracy is 97.1%; Principal component analysis indicates morphological differences of three populations
